License to Remix
I have a bone to pick with DJs and MDs who think that everything should be remixed. Especially with this new fad of releasing two CDs of an album - one with originals, and the second with club-versions of the song. Fine, remixes of Manzar and Kajraa Re make sense - but Pehli Nazar Mein from Race? Tum Se Hi from Jab We Met? - they're pretty love songs that were never meant to be remixed. You've gotta be on some serious 'shrooms if you want to hear a techno-fied version of Pehli Nazar Mein. Argh!
In other news, the Mandarin Oriental on South Beach rocks.

Agreed! And it's even worse when they remix old classics of Lata and Kishore etc and totally ruin them :(
