Let's Get It Done!
In case you're wondering about my temporary hiatus from regular blogdom, this is what I've been up to. Its been such a gargantuan task for the last few months, that we've needed to haul up all our marketing/strategy resources (especially since a large part of them got chucked during the C-Armageddon). But now that its through and launched, and a good, strong Saketini is the order of the weekend.
FYI - The order of last weekend was dodging Abhiwarya mourning. Crap! Say it ain't so :-(

"Meanwhile, Fallon presented plans for advertising that prominently featured the arc. But its chances were diminished after a bungled television spot for its consumer businesses that featured a spokesman who resembled the lead character from the movie comedy "Borat."
I remember those ads, they were SOOO annoying and distasteful! What were you guys thinking!?
Though frankly, I don't remember any of the arc business so as long as Citi yanked the character, nobody would care if the arc was in the logo or not. But these are the bizarre, mundane things that advertisers get picky about :P
*Sigh* I think I'd like to be on the client-side instead of at the agency. You lot get to boss us all around and its so much more fun to see the whole integrated marketing picture than just one piece.
Oh well, at this point I'll settle for any naukri that pays!!
